One Day of Hope Outreach, Clothing Closet, and Volunteer Shirts

We had such a great day this past Saturday interacting with the community! It was a little cold and windy, but that didn’t stop the fun. One of the biggest goals of Manchester Hope Outreach is to build real relationships with the community. We are starting to see those relationships blossom. So many times on Saturday, people would call me by name or stop and give me an update on what’s going on with their life. It warms my heart to know that they are beginning to trust us enough to slowly allow us to be a part of their lives. Our awesome volunteers handed out 300+ flyers, so we are looking forward to seeing the fruits this Saturday at the clothing closet!

Speaking of the clothing closet, our hard working volunteers spent three hours or more the past couple days going through clothing. I joke that in the beginning when we first started the clothing closet, I was concerned we wouldn’t have enough clothing to keep it going…HA!

I cannot say enough how thankful I am for our volunteers. None of this would be possible without them!

We will be ordering shirts for anyone who would like one. These shirts will be great to wear during Hope Outreach events! They are $12 each. Please let us know if you would like one. Deadline to order is November 2
